| UPLOADING TUTORIALS |

This tutorial is very long but i have took many screenshots & tried to explain it best i can, was kinda hard lol First you need a program like Dreamweaver or Frontpage etc, i use Dreamweaver so ill be explaining this as if you have it too, should be the same for all programs but things might be in a different place Ill explain
a few things that you must make sure you do before you upload your tuts. When you write your tutorials your tutfolders need to be in small letters & no spaces, so for example - beautywithin - thats what they need to look like. Inside each folder you need to have your main image, screenshots & zip file. I always write my tuts to wordpad first so i place these in my folders too. Also when you do your HTML page you place this in your tut foler too. So this is what my tut folder looks like -
And this is what they look like inside -
As you can see in the 2nd screenshot i have my tag, supplies folder, supplies zip, screenshots & my tut on html Right now
thats out of the way ill show you how to put your tut on HTML
Click inside each of the black boxes 1 & 2 - write the name of your tut. I use Verdana size 7 the header & size 2 fir the tut text but feel free to mess around & find one that you like
Click inside
the big white part where your tag will go, make sure its centered Now to add
your tut - its easy lol If you wanna
change your text drag your mouse over all your text to highlight it &
change the text settings to whatever you like Now to add
links & your supplies
At the bottom where it says link type out your link - change target to blank, this will open the link in a new page
To add the
supplies - highlight the word same way as above
There you go your supplies are added now lol Now to change
the colour of your links & border etc
Only change
the codes that i highlight - these are for your links, hover, scrollbar
& background Heres the ones to change
You can preview
your page to see what it looks like when its on the net
Save to your tut folder with the same name Now to add
the tut to your site Click on the html button so you can see the codes
Ive used
Lisas tutorial page for this cos mines different Now to add your tut - highlight & copy one of your codes you already got from your tut page
Past it to
where your new tut will go - in alphabetical order Highlight where the name of the tut is
Delete &
write the name of your new tutorial
This is the
link to your tutorial HTML page - so we need to change this to link to
our new tutorial
Click ok & youll see that the code has changed - this will now link to your new tut - you can preview again like you did earlier to make sure everything is right
Ive added
a tut on how to login to FTP - so follow that until you see your folders
on the left & your site folders on the right
We add our
tutorial first in your left box open your tut folder by double it - find
the folder for your new tut, click it once to highlight it - in your right
box find your tut folder
If you have
a scrapkit in your supplies it will take longer cos they are massive files If youve done everything right - then YAY well done - if not then just go back and check everything again lol If you need anything feel free to email me - ill gladly help.
